Terms of Service

1. The service

RodaStamp lets workshops record vehicle maintenance, calculate the next service target for each maintenance item, and prepare messages for their customers. It lets car owners see their maintenance history across participating workshops.

RodaStamp does not carry out, inspect or guarantee any maintenance. Each record shows the work a workshop says it did, and that workshop is responsible for the work.

2. Workshop accounts

A workshop registers on RodaStamp and is approved only after RodaStamp has checked the SSM document and called the Contact Mobile Number. RodaStamp may send a registration back or refuse it.

The Workshop Owner is responsible for the staff accounts they create, the roles they give, and switching off access when someone leaves.

Keep passwords secret. Tell us at once at 【待填 · support contact】 if an account may be misused.

3. What workshops must do

• Record accurate information, and fix mistakes with corrections and voids, which keep the earlier version.
• Have a lawful basis to record customers' personal data, and tell customers that their details and service history are kept in RodaStamp and shown to them in their Passport. RodaStamp's messages do not do this for you.
• Send WhatsApp messages yourself, one customer at a time, only to customers who expect them, following WhatsApp's terms and the law.
• Do not put prices in customer messages, upload documents you are not allowed to share, or use RodaStamp for anything unlawful.

4. Car owners

• Your Passport shows the records workshops made for your vehicle and mobile number. If something is wrong, ask the workshop that made the record to correct it.
• Until you create an account, anyone with your personal link and your mobile number can open your Passport. Keep the link and your password to yourself.
• One mobile number holds a vehicle's Passport. If more than one person claims a vehicle, RodaStamp reviews it and does not merge records automatically.
• Car owners use the Passport free of charge.

6. Availability and emergency modes

We work to keep RodaStamp available, but we do not promise that it will never be interrupted. To protect data, RodaStamp may pause changes for all workshops (Emergency Read-Only or Emergency Full Stop) and will restore normal operation as soon as it is safe.

7. Data

Workshops keep the rights to the records they create, and allow RodaStamp to store and process them to provide the service, including showing them to the matching car owner. Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Our software and brand

The RodaStamp software, its screens, designs and texts, and the RodaStamp name and logo belong to RodaStamp or to those who license them to us, and are protected by copyright and other laws. We let you use RodaStamp only to run your workshop or to see your own Passport, as these Terms allow. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of it to you.

This does not change the workshops' rights to the records they create (section 7).

9. What you must not do

• Do not copy, imitate or reproduce RodaStamp or any part of it, including its screens and designs, or use it to build, or help someone build, a similar or competing service.
• Do not sell, resell, rent or sublicense RodaStamp or access to it, or offer it to others as your own service.
• Do not decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer RodaStamp, or try to obtain its source code, except where the law allows it and that right cannot be excluded.
• Do not use robots, scrapers or other automated tools to access RodaStamp or collect data from it, get round its security or limits, or try to open accounts or data that are not yours.

If you break these rules, we may suspend or close the account (section 10) and take any other action the law allows.

10. Suspension and ending

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these Terms, puts other users or their data at risk, or must be closed by law. Where we can, we will tell you first and explain why.

A workshop may stop using RodaStamp at any time by telling us. The Privacy Policy explains what then happens to its records.

11. Liability

As far as the law allows, RodaStamp is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by maintenance work, by information a workshop enters, or by messages a workshop sends. 【待填 · any overall limit of liability】

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that consumers have under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or other laws that cannot be excluded.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Each version shows its date. Significant changes will be told to signed-in users before they apply, and using RodaStamp after that means accepting the new version.

13. Law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia, and disputes are decided by the courts of 【待填 · state or city of the courts】.
